Blue?

We have decided to name our baby "Blue" ... for now at least. It's the nickname that Blue got when we announced our pregnancy as "Our little BlueBonnet," with all the pretty Texas bluebonnet flowers in the background. We love bluebonnets (can you tell?)!

 Since then, we have noticed that this little nickname of Blue's has raised come curiosities as to the gender of our baby. Whereas some may associate the name "Blue" with "boy," we figured that a clarification was probably in order to clear up any sort of rumors that this little one of ours is indeed a little Joseph in the making.

We do not know whether Blue is a boy or a girl, and we will not know officially until November. We've chosen to be SURPRISED. It's a decision we've made together, and we're beyond excited at the anticipation of what such a gift will mean. Ask me at the end if it was worth it (I'm confident it will be a resounding YES!)
